Baku was founded on the beaches of Sydney, through its original brand Bubbles Beach Co, in 1969. 1995 saw the introduction of the BAKU label and in 1999 the company changed hands to the next generation, brother and sister. The owners are also the design duo behind the BAKU brand, crafting each print and silhouette to ensure it is just right for you. This family owned Australian company continues to make all it’s beautiful swimwear here in Australia, keeping it local. Their swimwear continues to be inspired by the Australian beach lifestyle and the beautiful landscape that characterizes our amazing country.
